Network and Collaboration
As researchers at the Creative Technologies Lab, we thrive on engaging with unfamiliar and diverse fields of inquiry. One day we might be working on the conceptual design of a site-specific museum installation, while the next we are exploring methods for documenting world heritage, or even develop a water filter. In doing so, we navigate the intersection of generalist breadth and specialist depth, fully embracing the understanding that true innovation emerges from the interplay of multiple disciplines.
Our location at the Technology-Campus Steinfurt positions us at the core of interdisciplinary collaboration. Within the advanced facilities of FH Münster and alongside the research labs of our colleagues, we are continuously inspired by groundbreaking developments in areas such as computer science, electrical engineering, biomechatronics, chemical-, civil-, mechanical- and environmental-engineering, among others. This dynamic environment fosters a rich exchange of ideas and the creation of transformative, forward-looking projects.
If you are interested in collaborating — whether through an initial meeting, a workshop, or a joint project — to explore content-related technologies, site-specific installations, innovative experiential formats, or to support ongoing initiatives, we warmly invite you to connect with us (email to felix.beck@fh-muenster.de). Together, we can craft pioneering solutions that bridge disciplines and spark new possibilities.
Partner Network
We strongly believe that interdisciplinarity is the model of the future. At the Creative Technologies Lab at FH Münster, we collaborate with cultural institutions, foundations, and industry partners, particularly in the context of Germany and Europe, but also with a global perspective. These collaborations aim to develop innovative concepts, create practical use-cases, and bring them to life in the form of:
